St. Anne's Church in St. Annakerkstraat, consecrated in 1624, took the place of a former gothic church razed to the ground in 1581. The Baroque choir stalls, rood-screen and pulpit are notable for their unity of style. The Jerusalem Church, just a few minutes east of St. Anne's, sits right next door to the "Kantcentrum, Bruges popular Lace Centre and museum.
