Ockendon station in Essex was opened on 1 July 1892 by the London, Tilbury and Southend Railway and is located between Upminster and Chafford Hundred in Thurrock, Essex, on the Southend Central to Fenchurch Street line, 18 miles from Fenchurch Street. Ockendon station has two platforms. Most trains use the southbound platform while the northbound platform is only used trains are required to pass at the station. |
