Deirble's Twist, Fallmore Stonespiral on the Mullet Peninsula in County Mayo, Ireland. This is a sculpture by Michael Bulfin based on the local legend associated with St Dervilla. Made by raising the existing granite boulders on site and placing them in an ascending spiral. Michael Bulfin was born in Co Offaly, He is both a scientist and an artist with a specialist knowledge of trees and forestry. Michael was a founding member of Project Arts Centre, Dublin and of the Sculptors Society of Ireland. |
